Computer Science Studies

The School of Computer Science Studies was instituted in June 1996 as an umbrella to the departments of Computer Applications, Computer Science and Information Technology. While the first two had the priority to offer PG programmes and to pursue research, the third was concentrating on graduate programmes. The B.Tech. Programme in Information Technology co-ordinated by this Department later became part of the School of Engineering.

The School also provides administrative support to the Computer Centre.
