CUSAT is dedicated to promoting a peaceful and inclusive campus, ensuring access to justice for all stakeholders, and building an effective, accountable, and inclusive institution through various initiatives. Students can utilize several systems that have been implemented for this purpose, including the Department Council, Anti-Ragging Committee, Internal Complaints Committee, and Gender Justice Committee. The School of Legal Studies, along with the IPR Centre and the Interdisciplinary Centre for Research Ethics and Protocol at the university, offers a variety of law courses such as LLB, LLM, BCom LLB, BBA LLB, BSc in Computer Science LLB, and PhD in LLM. These centers also conduct various training programs, workshops, talks, and awareness initiatives for both students and the broader community, with the aim of fostering strong protectors of the law.
